Deploying SightLine across the Enterprise
This document describes SightLine Systems' recommended best practices for the deploying the SightLine software suite across an existing large-scale Unix infrastructure, including personnel involvement, programming involvement, technical resources, etc. Many of the practices detailed in this document are applicable to a Windows or heterogeneous deployment. Performance evaluation is the process of determining how well an existing or future computer system meets a set of alternative performance objectives. Arbitrarily selecting performance metrics, evaluation techniques, and workloads often leads to inaccurate conclusions.
